good news! when this semester started, we chose our Final Year Project(FYP) Titles and ranked them according to our choice (something like choosing secondary schools / junior colleges, very important!) haha. i chose a project which is IAP-linked, which means i can do attachment and FYP at the same place, on about the same topic. :D

now the results are out! guess what! i got my first choice! together with peien, she's my partner. yayness! :D:D:D let's hope it wouldnt be too tough! doing research on salivary markers, whether stress has any effect on arthritis. (: my supervisor is a professor from NUS who has MANYMANY certs! *STRESSED*

bottomline is, im gonna go to NUS to do my FYP and attachment! something which i've dreamt of ever since i came into biotech! haha. :p cuz NUS has the best Life Sciences course so far. (compared to NTU which only has 2 courses, i think)

yesterday night i received this sms from my NAN HUA BAND senior, lets call him J. the msg was about him going to play for YUHUA and RV ALUMNI BAND concert some day in January.
erm, hello? he is from NAN HUA. not YUHUA nor RV? o.o"

so yea, i msged him and asked what has YUHUA and RV alumni band gotta do with him. and is he part of them?

guess what he replied?
im from PJC.. same conductor.

LIKE DOTS! you advertised your concert as Yuhua and RV alumni band (veryveryvery good band & music) and wait till people ask why are you involved. you tell them that they're under the same conductor. -________- i dont know about you guys, but i think this is deception.

so i told him that, and he gave me a whole load of crap that they have combined their bands together. calling the association (lets call it SW now), SW. and that they'll announce the new name on the concert itself.

damn dots. if im going, obviously i'll expect true blue Yuhua and RV alumni band playing, cuz you advertised it that way. the next thing i know, there're some people from other schools playing. erh. deception? or otherwise?

im not against their music, cuz i know senior J has a good foundation in music and plays damn alot of instruments. but i just cant see eye to eye with the advertising technique.

oh well..
im a lil cranky nowadays. common tests are killing tons of my brain cells.

especially since common test is right after that incident. oh well.. still trying to get over it.

ive been getting on okay.
something horrible happened yesterday and i almost lost a loved one. well.. only 2 people know of it. and i thank God for the two of them. my pillars of support - you know who you are. (:

my heart hurt so bad when i found out about it. and i cried in the drizzle for so long.. cried till i had no more tears to spare. lets hope things will be okay now.
